Zendaya Coleman

ZendayaColeman is an American actress and singer born on 1^st September 1996 in Oakland, California USA. She started acting as a child star in California Shakespeare Theater near her hometown.  The meaning of Zendaya is “to give Thanks”, in “Shona” language which is a Western South African language common in Southern Zambia and Zimbabwe. She has an African background whereas is a mixed European background from her mother's side and so the African touch and European elegance are obvious in Zendaya’s style, look and habits. Zendaya made her television debut in 2010 with the popular comedy series Shake It Up. She also studies at the Oakland School of Arts. Zendaya lent her voice to the popular animated television show 2011’s Pixie Hollow Games. In many television movies, Zendaya has also made guest appearances in 2012.

Zendaya is the favorite star of teens and she is a role model as the young lady got immense popularity in a very short time. In 2013, Zendaya appeared in the popular television dance show Dancing With Stars where she competed with some big names like Andy Dick, Aly Raisman and Kellie Pickler. In the Dance With Star show, Zendaya is paired with Val Chmerkovskiy, a professional dancer.
