iPhone 4S become popular because of its outstanding specs and now iPhone 5 is also released with more upgrades and with extra apps, but the question is, is it worth spending more money on iPhone 5 which contains added and upgraded specifications. Many people are aware of this Apple’s latest version iPhone 5 touchscreen Smartphone. Even this new version became popular instantly; within 3 day of its release, the company sold 5 million phones and by the end of the year they expect to sell approximately 50 million Smartphones. Comparison between iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S, of course anytime the new version wins as it comes with more modifications and extra functions. iPhone 5 is more like iPhone 4S only but with slight increase in its inches the new version is 4.87 inches tall and 0.30 inches thick and 4S is 4.5 inches tall and 0.37 inches thick. The new version Smartphone weighs only 3.95 ounces where as iPhone 4S weighs one ounce more than iPhone 5; this is full advantage for new version because many users prefer light weight phones. iPhone 5 with improved specification comes without any compromising on quality of the materials, instead of glass back the iPhone 5 has aluminum back . This small change in new version made top in the list of drop test competition as it is little tougher than the previous model. The controls are pretty much same in both versions. The power button in slightly small in iPhone 5 and they modified the home button slightly in iPhone 5. Micro-SIM in iPhone 4S is replaced with Nano-SIM in new version.
The iPhone 5 is little lighter and comes with aluminum back which is a plus point as it is more comfortable than glass back, and it is much easy to maintain. It is taller than the previous version. When you compare the quality of the screen, iPhone 5 has 4 inch retina display, 1136x640pixels where as iPhone 4S has 3.5 inch retina display, and 960x640 pixels, both versions are paced at 326ppi. The great feature is movies can be watched in 16:9 with no letterboxing. iPhone 5 also comes with warmer colors, wide viewing angles, and excellent clarity even in bright daylight. The comparison in operating system in both versions has not much of difference if the users upgrade iOS 6 in iPhone 4S then they can use the same operating system as in iPhone 5. The plus point is because of little extra height in iPhone 5 shows an extra row of icons in display and in some apps it shows more content. And when you compare the standard 3G talk time in both versions are rated at eight hours, and the battery life is mostly same in both devices. If you already own iPhone 4S then don’t worry it is equally grand in giving excellent service like iPhone 5.
